A section of Kwale religious leaders, Kaya elders and youth have urged Azimio chief Raila Odinga to cancel the planned Sunday rally at Jacaranda grounds in Nairobi.

The leaders have expressed concern that the political rallies might jeopardize national peace, cohesion and security.
They say recent utterances by the Raila of failing to recognize President William Ruto and his administration are likely to divide Kenyans.
They urge Raila to accept the outcome of the general election and the court’s verdict for peace to prevail.
Yesterday, President William Ruto said He is the only Head of State in Kenya and The Azimio leader should accept the reality and move on.
Similar sentiments were shared by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who in his response to Nairobi Governor Sakaja said the Azimio group must pass through his Annex office before reaching out to Ruto.
