Junior Secondary School (JSS) teachers would given priority in the January 2023 mass recruitment of 30,000 teachers, according to Nancy Macharia, Chief Executive Officer of the Teachers Service Commission (TSC)
Speaking in Mombasa on Friday after overseeing the opening of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination papers, she stated that the nation was once in need of more than 116,000 teachers, with solely 68,000 of those needed for secondary schools.
