Before the adjournment, the Members of Parliament approved a number of motions.

The Bill now proposes that instead of four persons being nominated by the Parliamentary Service Commission, we will now have one man and one woman being nominated by the PSC.
“To conform with the issue of gender parity, we’ll also have one person to be nominated by the Public Service Commission, one other person will be nominated by the political parties liaison committee”, Majority Leader Kimani Ichungwah said.
