South Mugirango MP Silvanus Osoro has reacted to ex-governor Ongwae visit in Karen. Osoro says the leaders should go slow and lower their expectations.

Kisii County Former Governor James Ongwae on Friday led a delegation of eight ex-mps from Kisii and Nyamira county for a meeting in Karen with President Elect William Ruto.

Reports say the ex-kisii Governor James Ongwae has formaly dumped his boss Raila Odinga and joined rival camp Kenya Kwanza of William Ruto.
The Former Governor was accompanied by ex-Kisii woman representative and former ODM executive director Janet Ong’era.
“Relax folks,they came for a photo,wameenda. We forgive but can’t forget. Get it from me. Nothing came forth,nothing will come forth.Sahau! New blood it is” Osoro added
The leaders who were with ex-Kisii Governor James Ongwae are; ex-Mps Ben Momanyi [Borabu], Jimmy Angwenyi [Kitutu Chache North], Zadock Ogutu [Bomachoge Borabu], Stephen Manoti [Bobasi], Manson Nyamweya [ South Mugirango] and Zebedeo Opore [Bonchari].
The Abagusii council of elders chairman John Matundura,Former Transport CAS Chris Obure and Ex-Nyamira Woman Representative candidate for ODM Emily Nyagarama ‘Riberera’ were also Present.

Ongwae said after the meeting that as gusii community they are ready to work with President elect William Ruto.
Ben Momanyi contested for Nyamira County gubernatorial seat and lost to Amos Nyaribo of UPA Party which is associated with Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr.Fred Matiang’i.
Emily Nyagarama, daughter of the late Nyamira Govenror John Nyagarama also vied for Nyamira County woman representative position on ODM Party ticket and lost to incumbent Jerusha Momanyi of Jubilee Party.
The former CAS Chris Obure vied for the Kisii County gubernatorial seat on Jubilee ticket and lost badly to Paul Simba Arati of ODM Party. Arati garnered 270,928 votes against Machogu of UDA.
In the Woman representative race, former Egesa FM presenet Dorice Donya Aburi trounced Janet Ongera. Dorice garnered 190,276 votes against 59,595 votes.
Jimmy Angwenyi lost to Japhet Nyakundi of UDA in Kitutu Chache North parliamentary race and Zebedo Opore lost to Charles Onchoke of UPA in Bonchari.
