President William Ruto’s son, Nick Ruto on Saturday distributed foodstuffs to families affected by drought in Narok.
Speaking after the distribution, Nick Ruto urged Kenyans to join hands in supporting the needy during this festive season.
The President’s son who joined hundreds in Naikara area in Narok West Constituency, distributed Christmas gifts to the elderly and the less fortunate, said every kenyan should go out of his or her way to help their neighbor.
“I have come to stand with you, i know you have encountered alot of drought but i am here to share with you the little i can for your Christmas,” said Nick Ruto.
The first born son of the head of state through his Tujengane Initiative affirmed the need to remember the less fortunate in society and called on the youth to take the frontline.
“It is the season to share, let us not forget that there are other kenyans who are in dire need of support,” he added.
He says they will be moving around the country to ensure those in dire need of food get help.
Over the past few weeks,his sister Charlene Ruto has been under criticism by netizens over her frequent meetings with Governors and county assembly leaders, and the creation of Office of the first Daughter.
