President William Ruto on Sunday attended a church service in Homabay and later addressed the residents of Homabay Town.
However Governor Gladys Wanga and area Mp Peter Kaluma snapped the church function.
“President William Ruto visits my constituency for worship. I don’t have information of the visit and I’m there4 unable to attend as I’m in Nairobi!
His handlers who owed me information cry that I was not in Homa Bay to receive Ruto.
Kwani am I the Holy Spirit!. I got this information from social media at 10.30 am today.
It takes vehicles 6-7 hours on average to reach Homa Bay from Nairobi.
I don’t own a chopper. The planes going to Kisumu do so early morning and evening.
Ruto’s protocol failed.” MP Peter Kaluma Said.
Governor Gladys Wanga also said she is held up in Mombasa on official duty hence couldn’t make to welcome the President in her County.
Kenyans online have reacted to the snapping of the church function by governor Gladys Wanga and MP Peter Kaluma, saying the leaders should accept that Ruto is the President of Kenya hence work with him for the general public good.
While addressing the congregation, President Ruto promised to he will serve all Kenyans equally.
The Head of State said the time for political competition was over.
“I want to assure all Kenyans that this Government will serve them irrespective of how they voted during the last General Election,” said Dr Ruto.
