Prominent businessman Robinas Makana expressed deep sorrow on Sunday over the tragic passing of Nyamaiya Ward MCA Hon Elijah Osiemo, who lost his life in a fatal road accident on August 7, 2023.
Addressing a gathering at Nyamira Parish on August 13, 2023, Makana reminisced about his recent interaction with the Late Osiemo. He shared that just a day prior to the accident, he had shared a platform with Osiemo during a fundraising event at Rangenyo Parish on August 6, 2023.
During that event, Elijah Osiemo passionately discussed the remarkable accomplishments he had achieved for the people of Nyamaiya during his tenure as MCA.
He also took the opportunity to outline his vision for the future and the initiatives he had planned for the betterment of his constituents.
Makana, while addressing the gathering, extended his heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Elijah Osiemo.
He emphasized the tremendous loss that the community had suffered and praised Osiemo’s dedication and commitment to public service.
In a gesture of empathy, Makana also took a moment to extend his well-wishes for a speedy recovery to Township Ward MCA Duke Masira and Nominated MCA Priscilla Nyatichi.

Notably, Nakuru Town West MP Samuel Arama contributed significantly with a generous donation of Ksh 120,000, highlighting his commitment to the community.
Additionally, businessman Robinas Makana made a substantial contribution of 20,000 Kenyan Shillings, further bolstering the fundraising efforts.
Later that same day, Robinas Makana’s philanthropic spirit shone brightly as he extended his support to the Rangenyo Youths.
Makana personally delivered a collection of uniforms and balls to the youth group.
