Police have intensified crackdown on the notorious ‘Confirm’ criminal gang which has caused mayhem through acts of criminality including the killing of innocent people in Nakuru City.
Owing to the ongoing operation against the gang adherents, many suspects have been arrested and arraigned, while others are actively being pursued. Nakuru Police have recovered crude weapons, mobile phones, and motorcycles suspected to have been used as a means of transport in their criminal escapades.
Today, the Rift Valley Regional Commissioner, Mr. Mohamed Maalim accompanied by the Regional Police Commander Mr. Tom Odera, and other senior security officials briefed the media on the progress made towards dismantling the syndicate.
