NAKURU Town West MP Samuel Arama has condemned the ongoing occupancy of land belonging to Kisii people living in Molo, Elburgon, and Njoro areas.
Speaking yesterday at Elburgon during the send off of James Nyakundi Nyarienga, former DCIO ,Arama said, ‘We are all Kenyans, and if someone sold land, there is no need to forcefully start building houses on it.’
‘I have received many complaints that a certain community is taking land forcefully from Gusii people residing here because the President comes from their community,’ Arama said.
The City MP said that President Ruto is not aware of the absurd act and won’t condone such.
‘I’m sure the President is not aware of what’s going on here, and he won’t entertain such nonsense.’
Arama urged the residents whose land has been occupied to write their names so that he can follow up with area MPs and the Interior CS to resolve the issues.
Arama blamed the administrative officers for laxity, allowing such malicious acts.
