Nairobi, June 22, 2023- Education CS Ezekiel Machogu Commends Shabana FC’s Promotion to FKF-Premier League 2023/2024 with Generous Donation of Ksh 500,000.
In a remarkable show of support for local sports, the Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu, alongside several distinguished leaders, came together to congratulate and honor Shabana FC for their hard-earned promotion to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL).
The CS, known for his unwavering dedication to education and youth empowerment, presented the team with a generous donation of Ksh 500,000 during a celebratory lunch meeting held at Bomas of Kenya.
The event was graced by influential figures such as Solicitor General Shadrack Mose, Member of Parliament Silvanus Osoro,Zaheer Jhanda, Senator Esther Okenyuri, Duke Mainga Echate, Walter Nyambati, Sam Nyamweya, Josephine Omanwa, and other respected leaders.

Together, they conveyed their heartfelt congratulations to Shabana FC for their remarkable achievement and assured the team of their unwavering support as they embark on their journey in the esteemed KPL.

The Solicitor General made a noteworthy contribution of Ksh 200,000, while Sam Nyamweya generously donated Ksh 50,000. Balls worth Ksh 150,000 were also presented as an essential equipment donation.
Furthermore, CAS Joash Maangi contributed Ksh 50,000,Walter Nyambati also offered ksh 50,000, and Duke Mainga offered Ksh 30,000, among other noteworthy contributions from the assembled leaders.
During the uplifting gathering, CS Ezekiel Machogu expressed his dedication to supporting Shabana FC, affirming his commitment to attending their upcoming game against Darajani at the Police Sacco Stadium.
