Linda Moraa lost her life in a tragic road accident which occurred on Friday, 3rd of June 2022 in Kisii-Narok Road which claimed 9 lives.
Linda was travelling from kisii to Nairobi on board a 11 seater Ena coach Nissan before she met her death at Narok.
The trailer had lost control after experiencing a front tyre burst on the right side and it was on a very high speed. The trailer swerved to the right where it came headon with an 11 seater Matatu which was approaching Narok. The trailer pushed the passenger matatu for like 150 metres from the road towards a nearby compound claiming 9 lives on spot.
Kenyans online have mourned her as a loving mother, friend and a mentor to many.
Vincent Osumo, a close friend of Linda describes her as a cheerful, charming and extremely caring person. She lived a life full of happiness and she was always smiling irrespective of what she was going through. She was very kind, dependable and empathetic. She was very generous.
Linda was this straightforward person who never had anything hidden out of what you heard from her mouth and seen on her face.
Linda valued friendship so much. If you were her friend, she’d automatically become a friend to each and every member of your family. She had a very deep and special attachment to kids. In her house you’d find alot of kids on some weekends that you could easily think she ran a baby daycare.
She had this special touch to good delicious food. She loved to cook pilau, beef and fish. One time she had invited some friends for lunch to her house. She called and told me because I was late I pass by the market and get her some coriander leaves. I called when I was at the market and told her they don’t have anything by the name ‘korianda’, she laughed at me like I was a fool of the century. That’s the time she told me coriander leaves is simply dhania. For a long time since then she joked to me about ‘korianda’.
Linda valued honesty. She was a very loyal friend. She kept secrets and valued confidentiality.
