KPSEA Track and Field Events Schedule 2023
The chairman of the Kenya Primary School Sports Association (KPSSA) has instructed secondary school students in Grade 7 (JSS) to participate in the primary school sports activities and schedule for 2023.
Consequently, these students will be involved in track and field events that have been added to the primary school sports schedule.
The KPSSA’s letter was addressed to all regional, county, and sub-county secretaries who have provided the track and field events timetable for 2023.
The organization has also released a list of requirements that students must meet before participating in the competitions this year.
To participate in KPSSA events, students must meet the following requirements:

Completed introductory form with the Head Teacher’s signature and approval.

A photocopy of the birth certificate attested by the Head Teacher.

A certified photograph of the player with the Head Teacher.
The official athlete’s introductory form for games activities/calendar 2023 includes information such as the player’s name, gender, class/grade, date of birth, UPI number, entry number of the birth certificate, game, parent/guardian’s name and phone number, school, region, county, sub-county, head teacher’s name, TSC number, and phone number.
Note that according to the 2023 calendar, all students participating in the games must complete the form and submit a certified birth certificate copy.

- 200m Boys/Girls
- 400m Boys/Girls
- 400m Hurdles Boys/Girls
- 800m Boys/Girls
- 1500m Boys/Girls
- 2000m Steeplechase
- 3000m Boys/Girls
- 5000m Boys/Girls
- 5000m Walk Race Boys/Girls
- 4 x 100m Relay Boys/Girls
- 4 x 400m Relay Boys/Girls
- 4 x 400m Mixed Relay
Field Events:
- Shot Put Boys/Girls
- Triple Jump Boys/Girls
- Pole Vault (Regional/National)
- High Jump Boys/Girls
- Long Jump Boys/Girls
- Javelin Boys/Girls
- Discuss Boys/Girls
