Nairobi, Kenya – The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has officially commenced the dispatch of admission letters for students selected to join the March 2025 intake.
The announcement marks a significant step in the enrollment process for thousands of aspiring medical professionals across the country.
According to KMTC CEO Dr. Kelly Oluoch, a total of 14,338 admission letters for pre-service courses have been released.
“These are applicants who applied through the KUCCPS portal, and we are issuing letters based on the official list received from KUCCPS over the weekend,” Dr. Oluoch explained.
He emphasized the streamlined process, adding, “We are issuing the letters based on the official list of successful applicants received from KUCCPS over the weekend.”
In addition to pre-service courses, Dr. Oluoch noted that the college has also begun issuing admission letters to students who applied for upgrading courses.
These include diploma, higher diploma, and certificate programs, offering opportunities for current professionals to advance their skills.
New students are expected to report to KMTC on March 18, 2025, as the designated start date for the intake.
The college is preparing to welcome the incoming cohort, ensuring a smooth transition into their medical training programs.
Addressing concerns about fraudulent activities, Dr. Oluoch issued a stern warning to applicants.
“All successful applicants have received a text notification with instructions on how to download their letters from the KMTC portal, and no one is required to pay anything to access their admission letter,” he said.
He urged students to rely solely on official communications and avoid individuals claiming to offer assistance in securing admission letters.
The release of admission letters underscores KMTC’s commitment to expanding access to quality medical education in Kenya as it continues to play a pivotal role in training the nation’s healthcare workforce.
