KISII,Kenya, June 9- A recent survey conducted by Politrack Africa has ranked Kisii Women Representative Dorice Aburi among the top 20 women representatives in Kenya.
The survey found that Aburi has an approval rating of 58.1%.
The survey was conducted between May 1 and June 2, 2023, and involved a sample of 29,677 Kenyans.
Respondents were asked to rate their women representatives on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest rating and 10 being the highest.

The survey was conducted using a telephonic interview method, which is a reliable and efficient way to collect data from a large sample of people.
The interviewers were trained to ask the questions in a clear and concise way, and they were able to record the respondents’ answers accurately
The survey was conducted in all 47 counties of Kenya, covering 290 constituencies and 1450 wards. The sample size for each county ranged from 400 to 2100, with a margin of error of +/- 1.5%.

Hon Dorice Aburi was ranked 10th out of 47 women representatives.
The top three women representatives were:
- Nyandarua Women Representative Faith Gitau (62.3%)
- Meru Women Representative Karambu Kailemia (62.1%)
- Nyeri Women Representative Rahab Mukami (60.4%)
The other top 10 women representatives were:
- Uasin Gishu Women Representative Gladys Shollei (60.1%)
- Isiolo Women Representative Mumina Bonaya (59.7%)
- Kirinyaga Women Representative Wakili Njeri Maina (59.4%)
- Mandera Women Representative Umulkheir Kassim (59.1%)
- Bomet Women Representative Linet Toto (58.7%)
- Mombasa Women Representative Zamzam Mohammed (58.3%)
Aburi’s high approval rating is a testament to her hard work and dedication to serving the people of Kisii County.

She has been a vocal advocate for the rights of women and girls, and she has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of her constituents.
Some of Aburi’s key achievements include Playing host to the Kenya Women Parliamentary Association (KEWOPA) at Riokindo Girls High School, Kisii County, on June 5, 2023, to commemorate the mentorship of girls and menstrual hygiene.
She also runs charity events within Kisii County, such as the distribution of sanitary pads to girls in need.
Hon Dorice has established mentorship programs for girls and young women.
Aburi is a role model for women and girls across Kenya. She is an inspiration to those who are working to make a difference in their communities.
