Junet Mohamed is a Kenyan politician and the current Suna East Member of the National Assembly (MP). The outspoken legislator is a member of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) and was first elected Suna East MP in 2013 and re-elected in the August 8, 2017,and 2022 general elections as Suna East Member of Parliament for a second time.
The constituency which he represents is in Migori County and is dominated by ethnic Luos. In spite of being an ethnic Somali, he has been able to conquer Nyanza politics and has been embraced by Luos fully.
