The residents of Njoro, Nakuru County are still reeling from shock following the mysterious death of 23-year-old Jeff Mwathi.
Jeff’s parents, Peter Mburu and Anna Wacuka Mwathi, are calling on the authorities to investigate the matter and bring the culprit to book.
Anna, Jeff’s mother, revealed that she had planned to take Jeff and her sister, Faith, to Qatar.

She had applied for passports for the two and had hoped to take Faith first since she had skills in the beauty.
However, the passport was delayed, and Jeff’s passport came out first, and plans to go to Qatar were underway.
According to a report by Inooro TV, Jeff was contacted by DJ Fatxo for some interior decoration work in his shop.
Excited about the opportunity, Jeff called his mother, who was outside the country, to share the good news and also request some money.
Jeff and DJ Fatxo spent the entire day together and later went drinking in four different clubs.
In the wee hours of the morning, the duo went to Fatxo’s house in Safari Park Estate in the company of some women.
CCTV footage showed that around 4 am, two men left the house and went down to the parking and looked over.
Fatxo’s cousin was also seen making a call, and then Jeff fell from the window.
His body was reportedly found with his trousers past his knees.
According to a statement provided by DJ Fatxo, the young man committed suicide while nobody else in the house was aware.
However, Jeff’s family insists that he did not commit suicide as alleged.
Jeff’s father, Mburu, is calling on the investigation agencies to look into the matter and bring the culprit to book.
