High Court rules that IEBC’s decision to abandon manual register in identification of voters in next week’s poll is in violation of the constitution, directs commission to ensure arrangements are made not to deny eligible citizens the right to vote.
Previously Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga had reaffirmed his stance that manual voters registers must be used at the August polls.

But speaking in Gatundu, Raila said they won’t compromise on their demand for the commission to provide manual registers as complimentary method of voter identification should the electronic kits fail on polling day.
