Governor Amos Nyaribo embarked on an extensive tour of Keroka Municipality to inspect various development projects being spearheaded by both the County and National Government.
This marked his first visit outside Nyamira town since addressing concerns raised by the Gen-Z protesters.
During his visit, Governor Nyaribo closely examined the ongoing upgrades at Keroka Hospital, a significant project jointly undertaken by Nyamira County and the National Government.
The new facility, nearing completion, boasts modern theaters, wards, and equipment, poised to soon open its doors to patients.
The upgraded hospital includes a comprehensive outpatient wing, two state-of-the-art theaters, and male and female general wards.
An additional block features a fully equipped maternity wing, a pediatric ward, and dedicated ante-natal and post-natal wards, supplemented by extra male and female wards.
The construction of a morgue, incinerator, and a power supply house with a generator is also finalized, ensuring the facility is well-prepared to serve the community.

He addressed his critics, cautioning them against early politicking. He specifically singled out former Borabu MP Ben Momanyi, reminding him of his fourth-place finish in the last general election and urging him to wait until 2027 to compete again.
Area MCA Nyambega Gisesa outlined plans for further development in Keroka, including the establishment of a sewage plant and the construction of a facility within the municipality to support sporting activities.
Gesima MCA Nyameino highlighted the benefits of upgrading Keroka and constructing a new bus stop, emphasizing how these initiatives would alleviate congestion and improve the overall quality of life for residents.
