Felix Koskei, the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service, emphasized the fairness and equity brought about by the new university funding model.
According to him, this model will ensure that access to higher education is no longer hindered by financial constraints.
In this novel approach, university fees will be determined based on the financial capacity of the parents or guardians.
By individually assessing their ability to afford the fees, the new structure aims to make university education more affordable for everyone.
