Early Life
Born and raised in Mwancha village, Boisanga 1 in Nyamira North, Denis is a firstborn in a family of seven (among them Vickyoung Ensanako).
He was born in 1989 , attended Mwancha Primary before proceeding to Nyansiongo High school, then later Kabete Technical, KTTC and MKU.
Denis is Married with two daughters
Career
Denis Marube Maina, currently a Lecturer at the Kisii National Polytechnic (Computer Department), is a holder of Bsc IT Degree from Mount Kenya University, holds Technical Education Diploma (Computer Studies) from Kenya Technical Teachers College and a Diploma IT from Kabete Technical Training Institute.
Denis has worked as a Junior IT Assistant at Textbook Centre Ltd and also as a BOM teacher at St. Francis Gekendo Sec. School for a period of 4 years. He is currently the Youth League Chairperson for Orange Democratic Movement (Nyamira Branch).
Political Journey
Not known to give up, and passionate about public and community service, Denis ran a formidable campaign for Member of County Assembly (MCA) in his effort to lead people of Ekerenyo Ward but lost.
Mr. Marube is candid about his journey through career pursuit of political office, and believes that God will grant him an opportunity to serve in different capacities and change the lives of people in a bigger way.

So passionate about youth in leadership, Denis will go out of his way to offer assistance to individuals and the community. He has carried out community mobilization of young people to joining Technical/Vocational institutions to gain hands-on technical skills as an alternative to youth unemployment, this has seen an increased number of youths joining local VTCs and National Polytechnics. Denis has represented youths in a number of Capacity Building programs including Program for Young Politicians in Africa (PYPA) training in Uganda, International Republican Institute Academy training African Young Leaders under theme โMagnifying Visibility of Youth Leaders in Kenya, the National Democratic Institute among others.
Despite losing on MCA seat in the 2022 General elections, Denis remains a force in Nyamira Politics and candid about his journey to become the next MCA for Ekerenyo Ward at some point.
