Businessman Robinas Makana has called upon investigative authorities to probe the alarming Drugs Scandal plaguing Nyamira County.
Speaking fervently at Rangenyo Parish on August 6, 2023, Makana highlighted the disconcerting trend where drug consignments were dispatched twice within a month, yet residents continue to suffer from a scarcity of essential medications in local health facilities and dispensaries.
Makana’s address did not stop at exposing the drug crisis. He implored the leadership of Nyamira, spanning from the Mcas, MPs, Senator, Women Representative, to the Governor, to unite their efforts and collaborate towards the comprehensive development of the county.
Makana pointed out that Nyamira County, among the 47 counties in the nation, is significantly lagging in terms of progress and prosperity.
In his address, Makana stressed the paramount importance of maintaining peace within the region.

The call for harmony was interwoven with a discussion of Arama’s gubernatorial ambitions.
Makana asserted that Arama’s roots are firmly planted in Nyamira, thereby empowering him with the right to uplift his people.
While acknowledging the current governor, Amos Nyaribo, Makana hinted at a future need for support as Arama steps into a more prominent role.
Joining Makana in support of Arama, Victor Mobegi criticized those who spoke ill of Arama’s philanthropic endeavors.
Mobegi adamantly declared that no one should dictate how an individual chooses to assist their community.
Hailing from Ikobe in Bosamaro Ward, Mobegi also expressed his endorsement for Arama, even though he had previously supported Governor Amos Nyaribo in the past election, citing an absence of noticeable development.
The sentiment of gratitude echoed as Father Benard Nyangeri praised MP Samuel Arama for his dedication to the people of Nyamira, even though he represents Nakuru Town West constituency.
Father Nyangeri extended his appreciation for Arama’s involvement in the construction of Egesieri Catholic Church, commending his donation of 100,000 Kenyan Shillings and 10,000 bricks.
The business community also rallied around the cause, with Robinas Makana contributing Ksh 20,000 towards the initiative.
Earlier today, Makana presented a generous donation of glasses to Obwari Catholic Church on behalf of MP Samuel Arama
These glasses are earmarked for use in the comprehensive renovation of the church, including fitting windows, doors, and all the necessary elements.
This act of benevolence by Arama underscores the ongoing commitment to enhancing sacred spaces within the community.
Simultaneously, the momentum of support continued as MP Arama demonstrated his unwavering dedication to community development.
In a separate event today, Arama solidified his commitment by sending a substantial donation of Ksh 100,000 and 2 water tanks to Riomego Catholic in Magwagwa .
This financial contribution is specifically designated for the ongoing construction of the church, reflecting Arama’s profound commitment to nurturing the spiritual heart of the community.
