It was a moment of joy for the people of Ol Rongai on March 17, 2024, as the BAMO MEMORIAL FOUNDATION, led by its President, Dr. David Ondieki, pitched camp at Ol Rongai Market.
Hundreds turned out for free screenings, HIV tests, cancer tests, eye check-ups, dental check-ups, blood pressure tests, and many more.
Speaking at the event, David Ondieki said that he saw it fitting to give back to society.
The Canada-based doctor mentioned that many people in our society can’t afford to go to the hospital for screenings. Hence, he decided to offer a free medical camp in the area.
He mentioned that he will continue offering such camps in the Menengai ward.
Doctors from Equity Afya, PGH, Tuti Hospital, and others from Nairobi and Kisii contributed to making the medical camp a success.
