NYAMIRA,Kenya, Feb 27- Stephen Mogaka, the Member of Parliament (MP) for West Mugirango Constituency, has come to the rescue of Eugene Mecha Oigara, a young boy from Kenyenya village who had been stranded at home after his form one colleagues joined school.
Oigara comes from a humble background, and his parents could not afford to send him to secondary school.
The MP, who believes that education is the only inheritance we can gift our children, instructed his staff to find the boy and escort him to school immediately, providing all his shopping needs.

This gesture has brought hope to Oigara and his family, who never thought that their son would have the opportunity to join secondary school.
“I am happy that the boy has been admitted to Ekenyoro Tech Secondary school this afternoon, February 27th. He will soon catch up with the rest of the students,” said MP Mogaka.
Oigara’s story is not unique in West Mugirango Constituency.
Many students come from humble backgrounds and cannot afford to pay for their secondary and university education.
