Nakuru,Kenya, Feb 4- Nakuru Town West MP Hon. Samuel Arama Clears First Term School Fees for students transitioning from Primary to Secondary public Schools.
Speaking during the issuance of NG-CDF bursaries cheques at the CDF offices, Arama said he will issue Ksh 15,000 to students who were in private primary schools, and now joining public secondary schools.
Moi Secondary School received Ksh 690,000 for 115 form one students, Afraha High Secondary school got a total of ksh 420,000 for 74 students, Tumanini Secondary School received Ksh 660,000 for 110 form one students and Mogoon Secondary got Ksh 144,000 for 24 students.
Isaac Momanyi,needy student from West Mugirango Constituency in Nyamira County is among the beneficiaries of Nakuru Town West Constituency NG-CDF Bursary.
The boy obtained 410 marks in his KCPE last year and secured a letter of offer from the Alliance School.
The MP who is serving his third Term on Jubilee Party ticket has noted that some of the schools which have received huge amount of money are not domiciled in his constituency.
” I urge the area MCAs to hold Barazas encouraging Nakuru town West parents to apply for the bursaries. This is your money”, He added.
The City MP expressed his gratitude to the President, William Ruto for unlocking the NG-CDF stalemate
” Were it not for William Ruto, the NG-CDF stalemate would have not been solved. Despite being in Azimio, we are going to support the current government for the best interest of my people ” Arama added.
Azimio Demonstrations
Arama on Friday slammed Azimio Party Leader Raila Odinga over his claims of the election rigging.
The City MP said he will not participate in any demonstration against the current government.
“Where were you when the elections were being stolen? Accept and move on”, Arama told Raila Odinga.
Despite being elected on Jubilee Party ticket, the City MP has shifted his loyalty to the Kenya Kwanza government.
Arama says Raila Odinga should do demonstrations with his children and idlers.
County Politics
Arama pledged to support Governor Susan Kihika for the best interest of Nakuru Town West residents.
“Kihika was duly elected so we have no choice other than supporting her. If she delivers then we will consider her in 2027,but if she fails then I will challenge her”, Arama noted.
Arama hinted at contesting for Nyamira County Gubernatorial seat in 2027. The MP said he is weighing options whether to run in Nakuru or Nyamira.
